In Friedensau, the world meets to study and live communally on the campus. The rental agreements apply for rooms in the student halls of residence. All the rooms are furnished and equipped with a limited access telephone (calls received and free telephoning on the campus), Internet connection (WiFi) and TV connection, and most have a sink. There are communal showers and WCs on each floor.
Every student is responsible for their own TV and radio licence fees. Recipients of BAföG grants are exempt from TV and radio licence fees.
Students have the option to choose from the following available accommodations.

- Twin room (with shared Sanitary facilities)

- Rooms in shared housing
- Apartments for married couples and families
On campus, there are apartments of various sizes and with different facilities available for married couples and families. The apartments are equipped with a limited access telephone, an Internet connection (LAN) and a TV connection. These charges are invoiced through the ancillary costs.
There are possibilities for secure car parks and students who need garages for their cars. Secure parking spaces and garages attract little fees per month.
- For the summer holidays (July to September), students can apply for a suspension of the rent from the Management of the Halls of Residence. During the suspension, no room rent is incurred.
- In the event of a suspended tenancy, students can also get accommodation on campus for a daily rate.
